Aiken County School Board honors N4SMS

Schofield Middle School Ham Radio & Technology Club was recognized by the Aiken County School Board for their winning performance in the ARRL School Club Roundup.  they won 1st place over all in a national sponsored ARRL (The National Association for Amateur Radio) School Club Roundup that took place the 3rd week of Feb 2016

Award certificates were issued to 98 entries for the following categories: Schools: Elementary, Middle/Intermediate/Junior High School, High School and College/University. Non-school Clubs and Individuals.  The members of the Schofield club made 1051 contacts all over the US, Canada, and the world. They talked to 58 other schools directly, and 23 stations outside North America. Members of the school club that participated in the event included (from left to right)-
