It has been a year since my last ATNO but thanks to the hard work of Yuris Petersons, YL2GM, permission was granted by South African authorities for him to operate from Marion Island as ZS8W.

This was a one-man dxpedition using FT8 and some CW. I was fortunate enough to work Yuris on 40M FT8 for #321. I have confirmed via clublog that I’m in his logbook. I have also copied strong signals on 30M but after 2+ hours last not able to work him.
